MS First Capital X Football Association of Singapore (FAS): Driving Singapore Football Forward!

Singapore vs China PR

MS First Capital Celebrates Partnership and Community Spirit!

The energy at a sold- out Jalan Besar Stadium on 5th June was absolutely electric as the Singapore Men’s national team took on People’s Republic of China team in an international friendly match! We were thrilled to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with MSIG Asia and MSIG Singapore, as we rallied behind the Lions in a spirited display of local football.

The Player Escort Ceremony

Demonstrating the strong sense of connection across our three entities, the children of our staff proudly participated in the official Player Escort Ceremony. Taking to the pitch alongside the players before the start of the match, they enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience and played an important role in one of football’s most iconic pre-match traditions.

As part of the MSIG network in Singapore, we are proud to make a meaningful impact on Singapore football and the wider sporting community.

We’re excited to share that MS First Capital has entered into a three-year partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) to strengthen local football, and we are proud to be part of this journey!

With Singapore’s qualification for the AFC Asian Cup reigniting national excitement around football, this is a particularly meaningful moment for us. Having been established in Singapore for 75 years, MS First Capital has grown alongside the nation, supporting businesses, communities and industries through generations. This partnership builds on our strong and established position in Singapore’s non-life insurance market, where we are ranked No. 1 as a Group combined with MSIG Singapore

It reflects our continued commitment to contribute to Singapore’s progress, now through sport, and to be part of a broader movement to bring football back as a shared national passion.

Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI)

Today, we are incredibly proud to share that MS First Capital Insurance Ltd is recognised among Singapore’s Top 300 Employers in the inaugural 2025 Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI). This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful career pathways, fostering inclusive growth, and investing in our people’s potential. The SOI measures people outcomes – from hiring and pay progression to promotion and retention – making this recognition a testament to the real opportunities we create for our most valuable asset, our people.

This honour isn’t just about recognition, it’s validation that our commitment to our people creates measurable impact. The SOI tracks real career trajectories, showing how we open doors through inclusive hiring, enable advancement through clear progression paths, and sustain careers through meaningful retention. In a nation built on the promise that progress for Singapore means progress for its people, we’re honoured to contribute to this vision.

The Singapore Opportunity Index is a data-driven tool developed by The Burning Glass Institute to measure how career development and opportunities unfold within organizations in Singapore. It is not a ranking system but a benchmarking tool designed to help employers and workers understand workforce outcomes and improve talent strategies. The SOI uses government data from the Occupation and Employment Dataset (2020-2024) to analyze metrics such as pay, progression, gender parity, retention, and hiring across around 1,500 firms, covering nearly 45% of the resident workforce.
